We left my apartment at 3:30 AM headed to Houston to catch the plane to Guatemala with this group of students. Only God knows what He has in store for me! Thanks for keeping me in your prayers!
MY ADVENTURE STARTED IN 2009 WITH THIS LETTER. THANKS FRIENDS!
Dear friends, I can remember how i would sit in my 1st grade class as my teacher, Sister Juanita Green, would tell us vivid stories of her mission journeys to the Massai tribe in Africa. I distinctly remember saying “I want to go there one day.” I did not think that 16 yrs later and I finally have the opportunity to do so! This year I have committed myself to the discipleship-training program at Crossroads Church in Lafayette La. As part of my training I get the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of going and ministering to the Massai tribes of Kenya and an additional opportunity to go to work at an orphanage in Guatemala called Casa de Niños Aleluya. As you know, I have always had a passion for ministering to children,so this will be a wonderful experience for me! The combined trips are $3,300. Departure dates are November 16, 2009 to Guatemala and January 18, 2010 to Kenya. Would you please consider partnering with me in these endeavors?
